The Life Beyond Physical Death
Man is afraid of many things, but the fear of death is the greatest, the very thought of which makes him shiver. The reason for this reaction is ignorance about the environment of life beyond physical death. This fear mostly ensues from the misconception that with the end of physical existence, the individual loses its identity in totality. A firm conviction in the continuity of life after physical death frees man from the fear of death.
The book analyzes the myths and reality of the existence of life after the death, and consequent disappearance of the physical body. The task of educating people about the invisible realms of existence, the nature of life in the subtle body, etc., is, however, not easy. The subject pertains to paranormal phenomena and is, therefore, much beyond the reach of physical sciences and intellectual discussions. Nevertheless, the sagacious author has given lucid explanations, and to ease the comprehension of the subject matter, he also presents authentic experiences of several great souls with whom he has had some close interactions. The book also cites rational views and scientifically supported evidences of the continuity and nature of life after death.
Max Planck, the great founder of Quantum Mechanics, was always interested in borderline problems of physics and philosophy. His views reported in “The Observer” [issue dated January 25,1931] state ‘I regard consciousness as fundamental. I regard matter as derivative from consciousness. We cannot get behind consciousness. Everything that we talk about, everything that we regard as existing, postulates consciousness’. According to some path-breaking researchers, the Quantum Physics laws tell us that “life” is not made of matter but of vibrations that escape time and space.
