This is a compact and handy manual of Vaidika Marriage Ceremonial. It has been specially prepared for the people, who are not conversant with the Devanagari script. Vaidika mantras have been transliterated in Roman script and translated in simple English. Even then the original Devanagari version is also included.

About the Author
Popularly known as VIRĄJ, Udayavir Vedalankar was born on the 7th November 1921 at Mohana, District Bulandshahar in Uttar Pradesh as son of Shri Narayan Rao and Shrimati Gangadevi.
Studied at Gurukul Kangri. Graduated as Vedalankar; post graduated from Agra University in Hindi.
Participated in Arya Satyagraha in Hyderabad in 1939 in the first batch. Imprisoned for 6 months; honoured as a freedom fighter by the central government. Arrested in the Ramjanmbhoomi movement and detained for sometime.
He worked as a teacher and as journalist alternatively. Worked in the editorial department of Vir-Arjun of Delhi and Dharmayug of Bombay. Taught in the Hindi teaching scheme of the works, housing and supply deptt. and worked as Hindi officer for four years in the Ministry of Government of India.
Translated Yajurveda and Atharvaveda in English in nine volumes Published by Veda Pratishthan. Wrote several books on wild life. Traveled widely in Bharat, Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh.
